Currently serving as Executive Vice President of HR & Enterprise Systems at Indiana Bioscience Research Institute (IBRI), Amy leads all HR functions, Legal, Laboratory Operations, Facilities, Safety, Enterprise Policies, and Enterprise Systems. She also manages board administration and strategic systems implementation, ensuring organizational agility, compliance, and operational excellence in support of cutting-edge bioscience research and innovation. In this role, Amy plays a critical part in safeguarding intellectual property and maintaining robust compliance frameworks that protect proprietary research and technology. Her leadership also strengthens IBRI’s internship program through the development of a comprehensive curriculum, which has received strong positive feedback from interns. Under Amy’s guidance, the program is increasingly recognized as a leader in providing the best scientific internships in Indiana. Amy is passionate about shaping the careers of future scientific and business professionals by actively engaging with universities and speaking at events that foster enduring relationships with academic institutions and students.
Previously, Amy held senior roles including Strategic HR Business Partner at Linde Advanced Material Technologies, where she partnered with the Vice President of Atomization to support operations in materials and coatings for aerospace applications (including Boeing and NASA). In this role, she guided leadership on organizational development and talent strategies critical to advanced manufacturing and aerospace innovation. Amy also served as Chief HR Officer at SGI, where she built HR capabilities from the ground up, achieving ISO compliance and boosting employee engagement by 30%.
Her career includes impactful leadership at Eli Lilly, where she managed global HR operations and talent acquisition for medical and research divisions. As an HR Leader for Global Physicians, Amy oversaw global physician staffing across research & development, clinical development, and medical affairs, and was responsible for global physician training, succession planning, and talent management—both internal and external physician pipeline recruitment—strengthening this workforce capability worldwide.
Beyond HR, Amy has served as a business leader in medical education strategy, global medical transformation, and congress management, driving initiatives that advanced patient-centricity and global collaboration. She also developed and executed the Global Thought Leader Capability Function, establishing compliance and governance frameworks for external partnerships with medical and scientific thought leaders, ensuring consistency and integrity across global geographies and business units.
In addition, Amy brings hands-on experience in the medical device industry, where she worked in spine surgery environments alongside neurosurgeons supporting spinal device placements and collaborating on innovative surgical solutions.
