Libris Innovations

An engine for progress

Libris Innovations puts IBRI’s most promising discoveries on the path to success by creating new life sciences companies that are dedicated to delivering medical innovations for patients in need.

Libris Innovations was founded to bring this often-missing ingredient to bear in advancing the discoveries made at IBRI.

Why Libris

Delivering transformative medical innovations to patients requires scientific brilliance and technical ability. But it also takes entrepreneurial know-how to attract and manage the resources that will drive an innovation from discovery through preclinical development, clinical trials, regulatory approval and commercialization.

Libris Innovations was founded to bring this often-missing ingredient to bear in advancing the discoveries made at IBRI. Libris serves as a for-profit subsidiary of the IBRI to oversee new companies originating from IBRI and partner innovation. Libris also functions as an advisor to help attract the capital and talent that biotech companies in the early stages need in order to succeed.

Libris companies benefit from the strategic direction of IBRI’s leadership team, as well as the business operations support and enabling scientific services provided by IBRI’s professional administrative and scientific staff.
