Amy Aluise

Amy Aluise serves as the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute’s (IBRI) director of scientific administration. In her role, she oversees grants and contracts preparation, negotiation and financial management. Aluise also facilitates the human resources and compliance activities associated with external funding.

Aluise is an operational leader with more than a decade of experience managing federal and non-federal research. She will partner with IBRI investigators, staff and collaborators to maximize external research funding and to advance the IBRI mission.

Aluise previously served in numerous research and financial leadership roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Indiana University School of Medicine. In those roles she won awards for Work of Excellence, Customer Support and a Heroes Award for showing exceptional courage and leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
