IBRI names chief financial officer

Indianapolis - The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute has named Michele Sawyer chief financial officer. Before joining IBRI, Sawyer worked for Greenfield-based Elanco Animal Health Inc. (NYSE: ELAN), serving as executive director/general auditor of corporate audit services.

IBRI says Sawyer led a team of team of internal auditors as Elanco split from Eli Lilly & Co. (NYSE: LLY) to become an independent company.
