Paul Hoogestraat is a project management and data analytics professional with a background in pharmaceutical drug discovery. He also is a multidisciplinary problem-solver, adept at working independently and collaborating with teams across multiple functions. He has the ability to take information from a wide variety of sources and effectively break down concepts for diverse audiences.
Hoogestraat’s primary experience has been working as an organic/medicinal chemist with a track record of delivering small molecule drug candidates into clinical trials from de novo design, synthesis, to pre-clinical execution. His R&D work has spanned across therapeutic targets of neuroscience, oncology, cardiovascular, endocrine and diabetes.
Recent activities have included identifying and developing external partnerships to enable research capabilities across the drug discovery process. This pursuit has allowed me to develop a wide range multidisciplinary problem-solving skill set that would benefit any organization.
