Inaugural Summer Internship Class of 2023

The IBRI's Class of 2023 was made up of 13 undergraduates from Indiana University, Purdue University, DePauw University and Franklin College; five SEED/STEM high schoolers; and two post-graduate fellows. Roughly half were female, about 45 percent were from underrepresented minority populations, and an estimated 20 percent were from economically-disadvantaged backgrounds (living below the poverty line).

We truly hope that their experience - and yours - is a landmark one and that all will move forward with a great sense of accomplishment, increased confidence and passion for the sciences. Our greatest hope is that our interns will use their skills and passion to contribute to Indiana's growing biosciences community.
